Welcome to Fitness for Ski Instructor Training session 23. The weeks are flying by and at this rate before we know it winter will be here again. Today we are performing our 2nd deload workout. The aim of these workouts is to give our minds and bodies a bit of a break after 5 weeks of intense training.
Make the most of this week, next week we will be looking at setting some personal records that we can use as an indicator of improvement as time goes on.
Barbell Complex – 4 rounds (perform 1 rep of each movement per round)
Main Resistance Training
Deadlift – Perform 10 sets of 2 reps at 60% of your 1RM. Rest 60 Seconds between sets.
Glute ham extension – Perform 4 sets of 5 reps
50 Air squats
Full body stretch and thorough foam roll
