I grew up in Geneva at the base of the Jura hills and first got on a pair of skis when I was 2 so I was hooked pretty instantly! After finishing school I took a GAP year out to become a ski instructor and now coming to my eleventh Winter season I can see this as something I’ll be doing for the foreseeable future. I’m lucky enough to have ski’d across Europe in Switzerland, France, Austria and Italy as well as Canada, The U.S. and even Argentina!
Since working for New Generation I worked up towards getting my BASI Level 4 and Swiss Snowsport Patent which is the highest level in the Swiss skiing system and am now a part of the training team in Verbier where I have been for the past 4 Winters.
Verbier is the best place I have found to ski along my travels and now knowing the mountain and some of its secrets, it’s even more fun! The unlimited terrain and off-piste behind Mont Fort and Mont Gele can be the best days of your life! And it would be rude not to mention the Farinet in town for a few drinks after the skiings done.
I am also freestyle coach and love a few laps in the park and going upside down so if thats your cup of tea then give me a shout!
Something you don’t know about me
In the Summer months I worked as a Greenkeeper as well as a Windsurfing instructor in Greece for 5 years but now live in Verbier all year round!
Seeing people improve is super rewarding as an instructor! As a freestyle coach, there is nothing better than seeing someone land their first move!
Learn how to fall first, you’ll realise it doesn’t hurt and is actually quite fun! And once you don’t mind falling over it makes it much easier to push yourself to try new and harder skills.
