Ski Instructor Jobs Spain

Spain is the second most mountainous country in Europe and with that Spain is home to 34 great ski resorts.  Spain not only offers good snow but also lots of winter sun which means it is becoming a popular place for both instructors and holiday makers a like.

Many ski schools within Spain will require you to hold the ISIA stamp before you can work there, this will mean you needing to have completed your BASI Level 3.

Are there any exceptions made for working in Spain without the ISIA qualification?

If you are looking to work in Spain but haven’t quite completed your ISIA qualification, all is not lost.  Some ski schools and resort management companies within Spain do make exception for instructors that can show evidence that they are actively working towards their ISIA.  You will need to be able to show that ongoing training is taking place.

Recruitment in some ski schools in Spain does not start until quite late in the Autumn once they know for sure how many instructors they have returning.  Be prepared to wait until Mid October to hear if you have a position.
