BASI Level 3 (ISIA) Training Courses
The BASI Level 3 qualification is an international qualification for instructors working full time within International Snowsports Schools. Upon successful completion of the Level 3 Instructors will be qualified to teach up to parallel skiing and beyond on a variety of terrain which includes various conditions within marked pistes and off-piste on marked routes. The Level 3 qualification is made up of eight compulsory modules and one optional module, these are:
Compulsory:
- Level Three Mountain Safety Course (6 days)
- Second Language
- Coaching Level 1
- Second Discipline Level 1 course (5 days)
- 200 Teaching hours (must be completed in between successful completion of Level 2 qualification and 2 weeks prior to Level 3 tech and teach exams – hours need submitting to BASI 2 weeks before exams).
- Alpine Level 3 ISIA Teaching Exam (5 days)
- Alpine Level 3 ISIA Technical Exam(5 days)
