Our Tignes Level 2 Fastrack is perfect for those who already have their BASI Level 1 but want a bit of extra support as they approach their BASI Level 2. The jump between the BASI Level 1 and BASI Level 2 ski instructor qualifications is quite a significant one, but this course gives you focused training leading directly into the exam so you can make sure you’re skiing your best as you go into the assessment.
Designed as an intensive two-week training block leading straight into the two-week-long BASI Level 2 exam. You can iron out bad habits and develop the areas of your skiing you struggle with going into the exam with this fresh in your mind. Plus a huge benefit of this course is that you’ll be finished before the season fully starts, so can work all winter long.
This 4 Week intense ski instructor course is perfect for those who already have their BASI Level 1 and are wanting to make the jump to level 2 but need a little extra training. Running in either Tignes, Courchevel or Verbier they are some of our most popular programmes.

During the program, you’ll work towards your BASI (British Association of Snowsports Instructors) Level 2. BASI offers a great route into the industry, with the Level 2 being recognised in ski schools around the globe, from right here in Europe to Japan, New Zealand and China to name a few.
The BASI level 2 will open doors to teaching clients of all ages on marked runs within the resort boundary. If you are looking at doing this programme as part of a gap year, then the BASI 2 has a few added benefits. It is aligned with the EQF (European Qualifications Framework) meaning you can use it to help secure access to further education. You will also find that during your university holidays there are plenty of opportunities to head out to the Alps and teach during the peak weeks.
Your course kicks off in Tignes. For early season, focused training, very few places rival the Tignes Glacier. It is the perfect place to make those all-important changes to your skiing. Sat at 2000 m above sea level with skiing as high as 3500m Tignes is one of the most snow-sure resorts in the Alps. Combine this with a world-class lift system and off-snow facilities it is no wonder that international teams flock here for their preseason training.
When the exam rolls around, we move you across to the world-famous resort of Courchevel. Its wide perfectly groomed pistes are the perfect place to showcase your skills during your BASI exam.
