BASI Level 4 (ISTD) Training Courses
The BASI Level 4 (ISTD) qualification is the highest level of worldwide recognition. On successful completion of the Alpine Level 4 ISTD Qualification, students are qualified to the level required for mutual recognition in France, Austria and Italy. Instructors intending to work in these countries will still be required to apply and register to work in accordance with the relevant national authorities.
The Level 4 ISTD qualification is made up for 10 compulsory modules, these are:
- Level 4 EMS Training Course (4 days)
- 6 logged days touring (must be completed before taking the Level 4 EMS Assessment course)
- Level 4 EMS Assessment Course (3 days)
- Interview
- Coaching Level 2
- Alpine Level 4 ISTD Technical Course (5 days)
- Alpine Level 4 ISTD Teaching Course (5 days)
- Written Project
- Euro Speed Test
- 200hrs of Teaching Experience (these hours need to be completed between successful completion of the BASI Level 3 qualification and the Level 4 Tech and Teach exams)
