BASI Level 1 Training
Our indoor BASI Level 1 prep days in the UK are designed to prepare students for their BASI level 1 exam. It has deliberately been scheduled for the week before the Level 1 exam in Manchester in October.
The course is also a fantastic opportunity for individuals that are perhaps not interested in the BASI Level 1 but would enjoy the challenge of developing their skiing to the standard of a BASI Level 1 instructor.
One of our BASI Alpine Level 4 ISTD instructors will run the Level 1 Prep course. Throughout the course we will try develop your skiing in all the areas required to pass the BASI Level 1. At the end of the course an action plan for further development will be set for you to meet, and go beyond, the required level to pass the BASI level 1 exam.
As well as technical training on snow, off snow training will also be provided. This includes technical video performance analysis and discovering different teaching skills to aid the teaching elements of the BASI level 1 exam.
Our BASI Level 1 training is the perfect introduction to the BASI Level 1. This entry qualification focuses on teaching styles, as well as bringing your own skiing in line with BASI standards. There are a lot of new terms and techniques to learn, so our training week will help you prepare.
Our training is designed to help you ski at the required level, and understand what to expect before you go into your BASI Level 1 exam.
For students who wish to sit their BASI Level 1 exam immediately after the training, the Chill Factore are running an exam immediately afterwards, from the 1st – 5th October 2018 (book exam here).
