A few weeks ago we had the annual New Gen summer BBQ in Cornwall and once again it was an awesome day of getting together with old friends old and new.

This year we decided to mix things up a bit and instead of the usual coasteering session we decided to take the group stand up paddle-boarding along the Padstow Estuary.

For many of us it was our first or second time on a SUP board but everyone picked it up really quickly. Our Instructors Barney and Pete from Harlyn Surf School (who are also instructors for New Generation in Courchevel during the winter) showed us the ropes and spent a nice couple of hours paddling around with only a few falls here and there! We even managed to have a cream tea on the move, which took some good balancing skills but was well worth it.

Later it was back to the beach where we enjoyed a beach BBQ, few beach games and sunset.

As a thank you to those that came along, we have, on their behalf, given 8 months worth of nutritious food to children in Ethiopia. This giving was made possible through our partnership with Gloabal Giving initiative, Buy1Give1, implementing giving into our everyday activities.
