Introduction to ISIA Training Session

Over the summer/autumn months we are holding introduction to ISIA Training sessions at snowdomes around the UK giving any BASI Level 2 instructors the opportunity to come and see what to expect when moving on to training for the Level 3 Modules.  We had a few students join us at our July session at Hemel Hempstead and they found it very useful.

“This weekend there was an opportunity for a bit of extra training with one of the Gap Course mentors, Tom Speakman.  We had two hours of relaxed but focused training at the Hemel Snow Centre.  Despite the challenging indoors snow, it was the perfect chance to work on some key bits of feedback from our assessments and start to talk in detail about options for next season.  ISIA intro snap shotBecoming great at something is all about getting the right practice and having the chance to reinforce the small changes that make a big difference.  The lift queues were short (thankfully) so we had plenty of runs, and plenty of chances to feel the difference in our skiing.  We also had a reminder of some good drills that we can use in our own training and I’m looking forward to giving them a go, preferably back out on the mountains, sometime soon!” Emily – 2013 Gap Student

If you are a BASI level 2 instructor and would like to come along to our ISIA intro session we are holding the next one on 22nd August 2013 at Hemel Hemlpstead Snow Centre from 10am – 12pm.  Send me an email to instructorcourses@skinewgen.com to book a place.
