During University holidays
The busiest periods in any ski school coincide really nicely with University holidays and breaks. During these periods, Christmas, half term and Easter ski schools can not get enough instructors for love nor money. Finding part time work during these periods is super easy and a great way to get paid to go skiing.
Many universities have their own snow sports clubs or associations and several are very close to dry ski slopes or indoor centres. Working as an instructor during your time at Uni is much more engaging than working in a bar and should also pay better.
During the summer
This may seem a very bizarre time to be thinking about teaching skiing but during our summer the southern hemisphere ski season is in full swing. What better way is there than to spend your long uni summer holidays teaching skiing in New Zealand.
Everyday for the rest of your life
The leadership and group management skills you will learn during your ski instructor course are invaluable no matter what you decide to in life. Several of our students have gone on to use the skills they have developed on the course in ways we never imagined.
