Pleisure Holidays – Pleisure Holidays have a large modern, catered chalet which sleeps around 30 people, The Drop Inn. The Drop Inn is just a few minutes walk from the main gondola in Le Praz and also very close to the bus stop for the free bus that travels around the different areas of Courchevel. We are sometimes able to run the off snow sessions in the chalet if we have enough students staying there. The Chalet is based above the Drop Inn Bar which is a great place to hang out after a day on the slopes.
Transfers & Travel
You may find that you are able to arrange your transfer through your chalet company or tour operator but here are a few other companies you can try:
Pleisure Holidays – As well as a chalet company Pleisure Holidays also run a transfer company. They offer both shared and private transfers from most local airports/train stations to Courchevel such as Geneva, Lyon, Grenable, Chambery and Moutiers.
3 Vallee Transfer – Three Vallee Transfers offer transfers from Geneva, Lyon, Chambery and Grenoble airport as well as transfers from Moutiers Train station. They offer private and shared transfer to resort from as little as 37.50€
Snow White Transfers – Shared transfers can be a great way to spread the cost. Snow White offer transfer from Geneva, Chambery, Grenoble, Lyon etc to Courchevel and surrounding Villages.
When should I book my accommodation?
For our standalone courses it is advised not to book any accommodation or make any travel arrangements until your course has been confirmed as running which will be no later than 6 weeks prior to the course commencement date.
Which courses do not include accommodation and transfers?
The only courses that we offer where accommodation and transfers are provider are our Gap Courses and our BASI 2 FastTrack course, for every other course you will need to make these arrangements yourself.
I would prefer to be in accommodation with other students, how is it best to arrange this?
If you would like to book accommodation where other students are staying just let us know and we can look into sharing student contact details so you are able to find accommodation options together.
For our Standalone Courses we recommend purchasing a Courchevel Valley pass although some days if conditions are not good in Courchevel you may need to upgrade your pass to a 3 Vallee pass. This can be done on a daily basis at the lift pass office.
