Ski Instructor Training Accommodation

Chalet_Casse_Noix_Meribel_Nantgerel_-_Bedroom

Here at New Generation we don’t do things by halves – and the accommodation on our Residential BASI 1/2 courses is no exception. After a long days training, there’s nothing like coming home to tea and cake in a relaxing home from home.

The Chalets

Each chalet is chosen with the trainee in mind – a place to relax, unwind and recover. That’s why we like our chalets so much – all our trainees have twin rooms with their own bathroom, and lots of storage. Much better than a cramped dorm.

All our chalets have spacious, comfy lounges with wi-fi and tv and outdoor areas to catch the sun in the late season.  Plus, each chalet has a ski storage area and a space to service your skis (don’t worry, we’ll teach you how).

The Food

If you’ve been on a chalet holiday before, you’ll know the best bit – the amazing food! We expect no less on our training courses, which is why in Meribel and Stubai we provide students with breakfast and a two-course dinner 5 days a week. Perfect to keep you fuelled throughout the training day.

Your chalet host will cater to any dietary requirements you may have, and keep you well fed and watered. You’ll get to know them pretty well over the course.

We carefully curate our menu to maximise protein and carbs to keep you strong throughout the course. Here’s what to expect;

Breakfast

Porridge, Omelettes, Cereal, Croissants and Baguettes with Preserves

Lunch*

Baguette from the local bakery made in the chalet with a variety of fillings

Afternoon Tea*

Carrot Cake with Cream Cheese Icing

Baguette and Preserves, Coffee, Tea and Squash

Dinner

Moroccan Chicken (or Sweet Potato and Chickpea) Tagine

with Jewelled Cous Cous and Mediterranean Vegetables

followed by

Chocolate Brownies with Orange Coulis and Crème Fraiche

*Please note our courses in Verbier do not include lunch or afternoon tea

Afternoon tea in Chalet Lapierre

The Resorts

If there’s one thing we’re experts in, it’s skiing. That’s why we run our courses in resorts with a wide variety of terrain to challenge and develop our trainees. However we’re no strangers to aprés, so the resorts are also chosen with that in mind!

  • Courchevel is the home of New Generation – our chalet in Le Praz is just two minutes away from the slopes, shops and two bars which host live bands and sports.
  • Meribel is the heart of the Three Valleys – our chalet is situated perfectly next to a bus stop which takes you to Meribel Village and Meribel centre. You can even get home from the Rond Point.
  • Verbier is New Generation’s biggest training resort, which means the team there is like a family! There’s plenty of amazing off-piste to be found and some great lively post-ski bars – that’s why our chalet is right in the centre of town.
  • Stubai is our pre-season haven – Doug’s Mountain Getaway looks after our trainees in Stubai, just 20 minutes up the road from Innsbruck. It has a cinema, hot tub, chill-out lounge, poker, sauna & fitness room.
